Mary Martha
Mary Martha is a ladies' guild that serves Our Lord through our activities and projects in our community, our church and the world.
Some of our projects and activities:
General: We serve at bereavement luncheons. We sponsor a seminarian student. Every other year we host a Fall luncheon for women from area churches
Other Specific Activities:
Blessings of the Heart- made and decorated heart shaped cookies with help from congregation for the clients at the Empire Pantry
Tie quilts for Lutheran World Relief
Make cookies and punch and serve at spring and Christmas Leelanau Community Choir Concerts
Collect household items for Sem students in Fort Wayne
Help out members of congregation with fall cleanup
Pack 24 kits for Lutheran World Relief
Collect gloves and mittens for Empire Food Pantry
Kay Cooper has knitted 650 preemie hats for babies born in our area
